Aus dem Haus (Herford), 2006
Installation in the public space of Herford in an emty supermarket.
The corner situation of the shop windows is covered by wooden plates. Only a rectangle, covered with retro projection cloath is let free, for the projection from inside.
A small hole on the corner gives a view inside the room: Inside daily life objects (among other things: slide trays), a waterfountain, and a rotating aluminium ball are arranged in front of a white light slide projection.
Outside, on the foil, you can see the image of an urban skyline, created by the shadows from inside. Out of one skyscraper spills a permanent flow of water. Above this scenerie a big cloud is constantly turning.
Nightskyliner, 2006
Slide trays, desktop lamp, carousel slide projections, mirror, plastic plant.
The lamp draws the shadows of the carefully arranged slide trays and the plant on the corner of the wall. They become an ensemble of gigantic houses, being almost swallowed by an even bigger groth of plants, jungle or trees. Above this staged city situation 80 slides are being projected. The slides are black, but burned with fire, so explosions, northern lights, stards and skylights appear.
